I Literally “Earned to Upgrade”

13 weeks ago, I took a leap of faith and joined the Earn to Upgrade programme. Today, looking back at the journey, I can confidently say it has been one of the most transformative decisions of my professional life.

When the programme started, I knew I was signing up for a challenge. What I didn’t fully realize was how much it would stretch my capabilities in the best way possible.

Over the last 13 weeks, this journey has allowed me to:

Upgrade my Technical Skillset: Delving deep into domains like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and advanced digital workflows, bridging the gap between where I was and where the future of work is going.

Master Modern Tools: From leveraging AI productivity frameworks to navigating essential remote collaboration and project management tools, I’ve built a powerhouse toolkit ready for the global market.

Build a Growth Network: Connecting with incredible, like-minded brilliant minds and mentors who are constantly pushing boundaries.

But if I am being completely honest, the biggest “upgrade” wasn’t just technical – it was personal.

As the weeks rolled by, life didn’t pause. I had to consciously combine the rigorous demands of this intensive programme with my existing daily schedules and professional commitments. There were moments that demands peaked, but giving up was never an option.

Instead, I embodied the art of seamless time management, consistency, discipline, and resilience. I didn’t just survive the schedule; I mastered it.

A massive thank you to the organizers, mentors, and my incredible cohort peers of the Earn to Upgrade programme for creating a space that empowers women to learn and upgrade.
