Week 4 —- Topic: Solving Problems with Creative and Critical Thinking
    Status: Completed
Here is what I have figured out; When a group is called AN ORGANIZATION, it entails how the details, structures and functions of that group are set up, so that such a group can function independently and uniformly at any level per time.

Organizational skills are the abilities that let you manage your time, energy, and resources effectively to achieve specific goals. They are not just about having a tidy desk; they are about creating a mental and physical framework that allows you to handle multiple tasks without getting overwhelmed.

In the same vein, creative and critical thinking helps us navigate complex problems and make informed decisions.

Understand creative thinking as ‘the expander’ that helps one to view challenges from a broad perspective and critical thinking as ‘the filter’ which enables one to analyze and evaluate a situation objectively to arrive at the best possible solution. Critical thinking says ‘asks questions’ in other words find out and compare reasons.

This week’s course on the Earn-to-Upgrade Programme centers on solving problems with creative and critical thinking and organizational skill rather than becoming overwhelmed with emotions or distractions and procrastinating tasks. Approaching a problem from an objective perspective with a creative and critical thinking mindset can help achieve productivity and progress.

From this week’s insightful course on Alison, I learnt that the best way to achieve solutions to problems is first is to corroborate with other team members, understand their opinions/views/suggestions, critically analyze and evaluate each solution idea, choose the best solution approach and apply it to resolve the problem.

Synonymously, organizational skills are needed to facilitate the speed of arriving at a solution.

One ultimate lesson for me this week is “Just do it”. Procrastination is a cankerworm to productivity therefore it is always better to tackle problems as soon as they surface.
