I am super excited to document yet another progress of the 3rd week as a cohort in the Earn-to-Upgrade programme.
This week’s course is about communication in the workplace with the course titled, ‘Workplace Communication’ on Alison.
Communication is to a workplace as grease is to an engine. In other words, applying refined communication skill is paramount to the success of any business establishment, hence this course aims to inculcate quality communication skill into participants with this course.
The scope of this course reaches beyond verbal and written communication which is frequently used in all workplaces, to cover mastering the art of when, where and how to communicate effectively.
This course also teaches, applying emotional intelligence when communicating and or listening. I love the fact that this course is practical, especially in the area of ‘taking corrections and boosting self-confidence’ when communicating in any setting.
In a nutshell, I can confidently say that this week’s lecture has equipped me with the right tools to stand as the best communicator in any workplace I find myself in.

In addition to completing this week’s course I am glad to say that I have completed the 3rd Side Quest for this week, which includes optimizing my LinkedIn account, making a post, connecting with other cohorts and reputable organizations.
My Easter weekend can now roll-in on a soft ground.
