As part of the Earn To Upgrade program for women in AI, I completed a major project for the 8/9th week. Transitioned from theoretical learning to practical application by consulting for a woman-owned business.
After conducting research into their operations, I identified five critical workflow gaps – primarily with their communication channels. To address these, I provided strategic ideas for improvement and designed a professional marketing flyer to boost their visibility.
I have successfully integrated several weeks of coursework into this single project.I applied digital literacy, emotional resilience, refined communication skills, proactive problem solving and critical thinking skills as learned in week 1, 2, 3 and 4 courses respectively, throughout the process of this project.
This project required that I interact with various individuals including the business owner and my team members. This act has boosted my interpersonal and communication skills.
The initial stage of this project – filling the form with the business information – involves accurately inputting data which I learnt in the 5th week of the programme, hence, my data-entry and attention to details featured wholesomely.
With the knowledge I gained from the sixth week course on graphic designs from Canva design school, I was able to create an advert flyer for the business which will serve as visibility and marketing asset to the business growth.
To complete this project, I leveraged Google suite for the research and delivery and also used Canva and Canva AI for the designs.
I remain truly grateful for this opportunity and for having you in my corner through this process.
Yours gracefully… cheers 🎉🥂
